This is an entry level role within the Hardware Systems/VI organization supporting coexistence between WLAN and other radio technologies such as Bluetooth and LTE/5G cellular. The Coexistence VI Engineer will be responsible for pre- and post-silicon validation of WLAN-Bluetooth coexistence functionality at both the basedband and RF levels. Pre-silicon validation is performed on FPGA-based emulation platforms while post-silicon validation utilizes Qualcomm reference designs developed by the Hardware Systems organization. He/she will also support the WLAN and BT firmware teams in implementing and debugging the coexistence features All Qualcomm employees are expected to actively support diversity on their teams, and in the Company. Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
2+ years Systems Engineering or related work experience.
Laboratory experience testing and debugging hardware and software performance issues.
Knowledge of WLAN standards such as IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax
Embedded programming in C
Self-driven individual who can work independently.
Experience and/or coursework in Digital Communications and Digital Signal Processing
