Job Description :

GENERAL OVERVIEW:

Supervises technicians, performs electrodiagnostic procedures and is oversees all administrative and managerial duties within the cost center.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Performs administrative duties for the department, such as budget preparation and control and quality assurance. (10%)
  • Supervises staff, evaluates work, and recommends and implements approved disciplinary action. (40%)
  • Performs and assists in all Neurodiagnostic testing procedures. (30%)
  • Reviews and prepares all information in video monitoring for presentation to neurologists. (20%)

    • QUALIFICATIONS:

    Minimum

  • Graduate of accredited school for technology with board eligibility
  • Within one year of hire must be credentialed by ABRED to R EEG T or the AAET for R ED T
  • BCLS
  • Experience with computer software programs

    • Preferred

  • BS Degree
  • 4 years electrodiagnostic experience
  • Supervisory experience
