Position Details Position Information Job Title ELA IT-Media Tech Support Federal Work Study Yes Emerson Employment Yes Department Number 837010 Job Description Daily duties include providing excellent customer service to users on campus via phone, email, Zendesk ticketing system, and on location assistance. Collaborate with the ELA IT staff to assist classes and labs customers. Help the Equipment Distribution Center (EDC) check OUT-IN equipment for classes and student projects. Assist ELA IT staff with events as necessary. Other duties as assigned. Prior customer service experience in an IT environment is highly desirable. Boston Help Desk IT experience is a plus. Required Qualifications Have experience on IT Support, classroom support, field productions and/or live studio or remote productions (EIV-Emerson Channel-Emerson Productions,outside experience). Comfortable operating audio mixers, video cameras, and installation of audio-video equipment for live events. Preferred Qualifications Physical Demands Frequent travel throughout campus. Sitting a lot, while editing. Lifting heavy equipment no more than 20 pounds.
