Restaurant Manager Position available.

A Boston based Japanese restaurant is seeking an experience restaurant Manager to lead all aspects of our busy restaurant. You would be responsible for the day to day operations, team building and helping to deliver high-quality food and great customer service.


  • Supervise day to day restaurant operations and ensure compliance to all company standards
  • Responsible for hiring, training and making sure staff is updated on proper customer service practices
  • Manage, organize and supervise shifts
  • Opening and Closing restaurant rotation
  • Maintain optimal level of sanitary procedures for all food handling
  • Respond efficiently and accurately to restaurant customer complaints

Key requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in restaurant management
  • Demonstrated expertise in hiring, training, and on-going management of staff
  • Strong communication skills and delegation experience
  • Familiar Asian Food culture/knowledge a plus, Especially Japanese Food
  • Team player with a positive attitude, detailed oriented, and passionate about food
  • Must be able to work minimum of 5 dinner and 5 lunch shifts and work weekends and holdiays
  • Able to lift 30 lb
