Job Description - Sr. Technology Project Manager (Compliance), VP (90243391)Job Description Sr. Technology Project Manager (Compliance), VP - 90243391Primary Location:US-New Jersey-WhippanyJob Type:Permanent/RegularPosting Range:8 Nov 2019 - OngoingDescription Senior Technical Project Manager (Compliance), VPWhippany, NJ This Vice President position will include the management of projects involving the development and/or implementation of in-house and/or vendor technology solutions to meet identified Compliance business needs and fit within the overall Compliance Technology strategic roadmap.  The role will require project planning, resource planning, budget management, stakeholder management, risk/issue management, change management, communications management and vendor relationship management where applicable. What will you be doing? •Project Planning – management of project timelines, work plan and delivery scope; escalation as required•RAID Management – clear identification, communication and management/mitigation of Risks, Assumptions, Issues and Dependencies•Resource Allocation Management – management of resource allocation to projects•Budget/Cost Management – responsible for project costs (resource and non-resource), tracking actuals against budget •Stakeholder Management – direct interaction with PMO, Technology Leads, Architects, Product Owners and Accountable Executives •Change Management – collaboration with business stakeholders to ensure integration of IT capabilities with business operations•Communications and Reporting – responsible for timely and clear communications, with adherence to PMO requirements where applicable•Vendor Management – for projects involving third party vendors, responsible for liaising with relevant stakeholders in the onboarding (if applicable) of vendors, creation and management of statements of work, contract renewals, third party resource management•Leads in the preparation of project artifacts throughout the project lifecycle, from inception through execution and closure (e.g. business case, benefits/roadmap, business readiness plan, change requests, lessons learnt, etc.) What we’re looking for: •7+ years’ experience as a Project Manager, managing technical projects for both in-house and vendor tools•5+ years of experience working in an Agile/Lean environment•Must have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience•1+ year within Compliance Project Management Skills that will help you in the role: •PMP certification•Strong knowledge in using MS Office 2010 tools•Proficiency in JIRA for issue tracking•Highly articulate and persuasive communicator with excellent written and verbal communication•Sound commercial judgment and good understanding of Financial Services and Banking Industry •Adapts style to contribute and enhance overall team performance; works effectively with people across a wide range of disciplines and levels (both internal and outside resources)•Works collaboratively with others•Builds strong relationships with stakeholders Where will you be working?
